The Normal
Normally, I've experienced muscle pain when I've done a lot of exercise (muscles needed rest) or when I've been injured. The cause and rest or medication for these cases were easy to diagnose and treat.
The perplexing phenomenon was when the pains happened for no obvious reason. All of a sudden, some muscles near my ribs would give me dull pain. Sometimes it'd be a tiny sharp pain. The doctor said there's no disease or medical condition that could be detected. At times it'd be at my molars (which made me think I had tooth decay, but the dentist said there isn't). Sometimes it'd feel like itching on the gums at my molars (but the dentist said I don't have gum disease). Sometimes it'd be close to the bones of my leg. Sometimes at the base of my spine. This one was excruciating when it lasted for a week. It became difficult to stand up or sit down. Sometimes the pain would be at a specific finger. Each time this happened, the pains would last only for a few days and then everything would be normal.
The Oddities
Surprisingly, not a single doctor was able to put a finger on what the problems were. Classic. Over a period of time, I figured out when these pains happened and why.

| Intense athletic activities. |
I've been an athlete right from childhood. Running races, long-distance cycling, swimming, martial arts. During these phases of intense exercise and consumption of various types of meat, my muscles and tissues became stronger and well-connected with the skeleton. This happens to everyone who goes through a lot of physical exercise. Over a period of time, if such an athlete does not do much exercise or does not consume enough meat, the muscles and tissues start re-adjusting. This re-adjustment is what causes the pain.

There's nothing to be worried about when experiencing this kind of pain. It happens when starting to exercise after a hiatus. It happens when taking a hiatus after a lot of exercise. It happens when consuming meat after a long period of not consuming meat and vice versa. Perfectly normal phenomenon.
